For full-time employees (24+ hoursweek) we offer Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance.Position Overview:The Licensed Aesthetician will be responsible for providing clients with skin care consultations, developing personalized treatment plans and skillfully perform treatments, including but not limited to, clinical facials, extractions, medical grade chemical peels, microdermabrasion, micro-penning, and laser hair removal.Location: New York, NY (Upper East Side)What You'll Do:Provide exceptional client consultations, develop personalized treatment plans and skillfully perform treatments tailored to each client's needs and objectivesPerform treatments including but not limited to, clinical facials, extractions, medical grade chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and micro-penningLaser hair removal Educate clients on all treatment processes, including pre and post treatment care instructionsAcknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs and expectationsApply best practices and stay up to date with market trends and techniques for treatmentsEnsure client safety at all timesSuggest and promote retail products and additional services offered at the companyClean and maintain equipment and inventory of productsFollow established treatment protocols Generate and maintain a client baseAttend trainingsmeetingsAssist with other duties as assignedOccasional travel may be required to our other locations for trainingWhat You'll Bring:Active New York Aesthetician license required2+ years of esthetician experience preferred Experience with chemical peels, dermaplaning, and micro-penning desired Knowledge of medical grade skincare products and ingredientsExisting clientele is a plusExceptional interpersonal and communication skills; Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, peers and managersAbility to multi-task while being attentive to clients and remaining flexible to the needs of the businessAbility to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervisionProficient with email Social Media experience is a plusAvailability to work evenings and weekends requiredPhysical Requirements: Prolonged periods of:standing, bending or stoopinguse of hands and arms to finger, handle, feel or control things including but not limited to tools, objects andor controls reaching with hands and armsrepeating of same movementstalking and hearingOccasional periods of:Sitting, crawling, kneeling, climbing or balancingPushingPulling heavy objects andor machineryPay Range: $20.00 - 36.00 per hour* *Compensation will be determined based on candidate experience, clinic size, clinic location and market.
