The employee's key role will be Wholesale Parts Driver.Details About This Position:This position is a Full Time Hourly position based at our Healey Chevrolet location in Poughkeepsie, NY. The schedule for this position is a daytime 8-hour shift, with evenings and weekends as needed. At Healey Brothers we offer the following benefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401K Plan with Company MatchPaid Vacation, Sick, and HolidaysLife InsuranceFSA and DCA AccountsNo Cost Disability and Short-Term DisabilityWeekly PayDiscounted Vehicle, Service, and Parts PurchasesAnd more!What You Will Bring to the Table:Parts drivers need to be capable of lifting and moving up to 60 lbs.Strong time management skills and good communication skills are preferred.Drivers also must have a valid driver's license.Exceptional organizational skills as well as a firm understanding of automotive components and their association with a vehicle are useful when working in the parts departmentMust be able to operate in a team environment and follow instructions from the department managerDealership knowledge and an interest in the automotive industry is a plusWhat You Will Do:Delivering parts and equipment to customers, wholesale accounts and vendors.Coordinating pickup and delivery needs with the parts manager, parts counter staff or inventory control pleting a log at the time of delivery and ensuring recipient signatures are obtained.Unloading trucks every day; accounting for all paperwork and undelivered parts.Maintaining the basic upkeep of the truck: checking oil with each fill-up, ensuring that the truck is lubricated and getting annual state safety inspections before they are due.Assisting the inventory control clerk in processing material when schedule and workload permits.Assisting with annual inventory in pre-inventory and post-inventory functions.Healey Brothers Mission Statement:Utilizing cutting-edge automotive technology and training to give our customers a seamless, stress-free experience to earn their business for life.
