DescriptionH&S Family of BakeriesThe H&S Family of Bakeries are a network of 10 bakeries and multiple distribution centers along the East Coast, all committed to one thing: producing the best quality bread products possible. H&S Family of Bakeries includes Northeast Foods, H&S Bakery and Schmidt Baking Co. Together, our baked goods can be found in a wide range of establishments, from fast food and quick-service restaurants to cafeterias, hospitals, grocery stores and universities. We're seeking a Regional Sales Representative to drive sales, strengthen customer relationships, and expand our presence within the DC & Northern Virginia region. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional passionate about sales and customer engagement. You will work closely with our experienced sales team, and report directly to the Director of Sales. Success in this role will be measured by sales growth, and customer retention.Role & ResponsibilitiesProactively manage customer inquiries, ensuring timely a resolution.Maintain key customer relationships and provide a direct line of communication Develop and execute the company's strategic sales plans to drive business growth.Manage and develop new customer relationships, while maintaining existing sales in the assigned sales territory. Cultivate strong relations with potential customers through strategic outreach.Collaborate with Route Sales Representatives (RSRsdrivers) in route sales activity, order management, troubleshooting, daily issues, and holiday planning. Collaborate daily with the Director of Sales to meet KPIsSupport and develop core competencies in drivers or RSRs through training, coaching, mentoring, and consistent performance feedback to grow overall business Utilize sales data to help drive effective decisions as well as drive volume growth with customers through the means of cold calls, sales targets, and other sales leads. Ensure customer retention by exceeding expectations with newcurrent customers Maximize growth opportunities in various foodservice & institutional channels including Foster an optimistic attitude of continuous self-improvement and dedication Maintain a dailyweekly tracking sheet and maintaining information accuracy weeklyReview weekly sales reports to identify lost accounts and plan for improvement.Develop a strong understanding of our products and services offerings to optimize upsell and cross-sell to opportunities.RequirementsRequirements & Physical Demands 2 + years of sales experience (preferred but not required) in food service, distribution, or related industry. High School Diploma Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer service abilities. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Willingness to travel within the assigned DC & Northern Virginia territory.
