Collaboration Engineering ManagerWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Collaboration Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining collaboration solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation in collaboration technologies covering email, messaging, file sharing, and mobility. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of collaboration tools and platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of collaboration engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvementStrategy Development: Define and execute the strategy for collaboration technologies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives and IT roadmapSecurity and Compliance: Ensure that all collaboration solutions comply with security policies and regulatory requirementsProject Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of collaboration projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budgetTechnical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, ensuring best practices are followed in the design, implementation, and maintenance of collaboration solutionsCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including IT, HR, Compliance, InfoSec and Operations, to understand their collaboration needs and ensure effective integration of solutionsVendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services and stay current with the marketPerformance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of collaboration solutions and identify areas for improvementInnovation and Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in collaboration tools and platforms, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvementDocumentation and Training: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for collaboration solutions and provide training to end-users and support teams as needed.Metrics and Reporting: Define KPIs to measure performance, consumption, availability, issue trending, and moreQualificationsSkills RequiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 12 years of experience in IT or engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role focused on collaboration technologies.Strong knowledge of collaboration tools and platforms, including mobility, (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Exchange, Slack, SharePoint, InTune). Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies working in an agile environment. Proficiency in PowershellExpertise with M365 Compliance management, including E-Discovery, Data Residency, Privacy and SecurityDemonstrated ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful outcomesExperience in regulated financial services firm preferredThe estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
