We are focused on maintaining a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace and are always looking to add passionate personnel to our teams across the US.Job SummaryA Junior Project Accountant is responsible for supporting the project account for jobs assigned, helping as liaison between accounting and project management ensuring accurate and consistent billing and financial reporting.Responsibilities and Duties Assist with maintaining organized project contract filesLearn to understand AIA G702 and G703Assist with subcontractor invoices and payments per contract terms and enter in the systemInteract with clients and vendors in a professional, courteous mannerLean to understand Timberline BL, PJ, JC, AP modulesKnowledge of Microsoft ExcelAssist in review of sub-contractors' statementsSupport full backup billing of CM JobsQualifications and SkillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize and stay flexible, while meeting deadlines and goals4 Year College Accounting, Finance, or Business Degree preferred but not required0-2 years of experience in a similar positionComputer SystemsExcellent computer literacy including experience with Microsoft Office product applications (ex. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Proficiency in business software application Timberline preferred but not required.Salary InformationTo the extent this position is performed in New York, the annual salary range for this role is $65,000 - 80,000.The range stated is specific to New York.
