Job Overview: Social Workers provide comprehensive social work services to the inpatient population. They play a critical role in the admission and discharge processes, actively participating in treatment planning and delivering therapeutic interventions as part of an interdisciplinary team. Locations: ManhattanKirby Psychiatric Center: 102 Rivers Edge Rd., New York, NY 10035 Manhattan Psychiatric Center 125th St. Clinic: 163 West 125th St., New York, NY 10027 Job Duties: Complete admission paperwork and contact patients' families or support systems. Prepare weekly and monthly notes summarizing clinical presentation, discharge readiness, and other relevant information. ssist in developing discharge plans to ensure continuity of care with wraparound services. Participate in treatment team and discharge meetings held weekly on the units. Provide active group treatment in designated therapeutic settings. Collaborate as a vital member of the interdisciplinary team. Misc. Information: Monday -Friday; Timing will be discussed at the interview. Free Parking facility available at the job location.
