Job Type Full-timeDescription AIRMATIC, Malvern, PA, a Distributor and Manufacturer of tools and equipment for the Industrial and Construction markets, has an immediate opening for a skilled Power Tool Repair Technician in our modern, well equipped, Malvern Service and Assembly Shop. Our Technicians perform mechanical repairs on Customer owned pneumatic and electric tools and equipment; assembly and testing of our private branded equipment such as Motor Starters, Railcar Gate Openers and Concrete Screeds; and perform some mechanical repairmaintenance on our plant equipment. RequirementsRESPONSIBILITIES:Inspect, diagnose, and perform major or minor repair work on pneumatic and electric tools, pumps, controls, valves, and related equipmentPrepare work orders, time estimates, and reports detailing repair work performed and parts required in a clear and concise mannerAssemble and test repaired equipment in accordance with manufacturers' manual and specificationsPerform repair and maintenance on shop, warehouse, and facility equipmentOccasionally assist Customers with technical questions regarding the use and maintenance of tools and equipment purchasedAssemble and test Company branded pneumatic and electric tools, equipment and controlsAPPROPRIATE SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES AND INTERESTS:Considerable knowledge of mechanics, working knowledge of electric circuits, motors, controls, and power transmission products3 years repairing maintaining power tools and equipmentHigh School Diploma or equivalent; Vocational School Degree in a skilled trade is a plusValid Pennsylvania Driver's LicensePOSITION REQUIREMENTS:Strong mechanical and technical aptitudeProblem solving skillsDetail oriented, well organized, neat and orderlyAbility to prioritize activities needed for prompt turnaround of Customer tools and equipmentHighly motivated with focused ambition and driveRecognition and acceptance of the business principle that providing Great Customer Service is Job #1 for every AssociateAbility to understand and carry out complex oral and written instructionsSkilled in the use of the variety of tools, equipment, materials, methods, and procedures used in the repair and assembly of mechanical tools and shop equipmentStrong understanding of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the mechanic tradeAbility to rapidly move from job to job as priorities and Customer demands dictateHOURS & COMPENSATION:Hours: 8:30 - 5:00 PM Monday through FridaySalary: $24 - $26 Per HourBenefits: Comprehensive Package includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance; Flex Benefits Plan; 401(k) Plan and Profit Sharing Salary Description $24-26hour
