Veterinary Practice Manager at Vetted Pet HealthAt Vetted Pet Health, we focus on helping pet parents take care of the little things before they become big. The Role: As the Practice Manager, you will be the heart of our clinic, responsible for driving the success of our practice operations while ensuring an exceptional experience for both our clients and their pets. This role is crucial in overseeing the daily activities, coordinating with our medical team, and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of care, both digitally and in-person. Your ability to combine veterinary knowledge with business acumen will set the state for success in managing and growing our clinic. This role will work closely with our Anchor Veterinarians as well as any partner veterinarians on rotation for their location and will report directly to our Head of Clinic Operations.Vet Med Work You'll Do:Triaging appointments as they are booked in your clinic - all appointments are approved to ensure we are able to treat them as our scope is specific to preventative careRecording vitals and assisting doctors with diagnosticsCompleting treatments as instructed by the doctorBasic husbandry and nursing careTaking bloodPreparing samples for outside reference labsPreparing medicationsAdministering medicationsWhat Operational Work You'll Do:Maintain a 360° view of the practice and lead the team in ensuring that all facilities and brand standards are being metOversee and analyze your practice's P&L and revenue by type, identifying trends and growing top line revenue with support from your Operations teamHelp grow our clients by helping greet and welcome Pet Center clients as well as new clients out of the center Partner with Marketing to execute local and community marketing including, events, social media, word-of-mouth referrals and more to boost brand visibility and attract new clients Uphold a culture of safety, compliance, collaboration, and inclusivityWork closely with the manager of the daycare andor grooming center our locations are within to ensure a seamless customer experience as well as collaborate creative ways to fill both schedulesTake ownership of and handle escalated situations with members to ensure resolution; enlisting the support of the Vetted Operations team as neededManage and optimize the appointment and doctor schedulesPartner with larger leadership team to create, review, improve, and implement new initiatives and processes; ensure they are followed by all practice team membersExecute on the ground events that help build the clientele of their clinic; work with Vetted's marketing team to execute promotional offers (getting clients in our door is always a goal for the Practice Manager and the entire team). Sell wellness packages and plans to clients, tailored to their pet's specific needs (bonus incentive opportunity) Who you are:2+ years working in a veterinary practiceBonus if licensed in the state of Illinois or in process of receiving your LVT but not requiredExperience in a hospitality role andor fast-paced startup is a plus but not requiredComfortable with navigating technology platforms including Excel and Google SuiteEmotionally intelligent and autonomousCustomer service-oriented and focused on the detailsThis is a full-time position - typically Monday through Friday - however, as a leader of one of our practices, you are expected to have the flexibility to work occasional weekend or evening duties for events or specials being offeredCompensation & Benefits:Hourly rate - Range: $22 - $30 per hourPerformance-based bonusHealth, dental, and vision benefitsProfessional development and growth opportunities
