Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Clinical Lab Technologist to join a dynamic Rapid Response lab just miles from Mount Vernon!This full-time position 8 AM - 4 PM offering the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge laboratory environment with a focus on preparing pathological slides for diagnostic procedures.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine and emergency tests on various body fluids using automated and manual equipmentPrepare reagents and manage inventoryAssist with order entry and phone inquiriesProvide guidance to technicians and train new employeesMaintain a clean work area following Infection Control guidelinesHandle additional lab tasks as neededRequirementsBachelor's degree in a physical science; medical technology preferred.New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or a limited permit is required.Proficiency with laboratory and hospital information system computers, as well as various automated and laboratory equipment, is essential.BenefitsCompetitive salary DOE: $82,000 - $103,000 AnnuallyComprehensive Union benefits including medical, dental, and retirement plansOpportunities for professional growth and development
