Clinical Lab Technologist - Chemistry Lab

Job DescriptionAn exciting full-time opportunity is available for a Clinical Lab Technologist specializing in Chemistry. This role offers the chance to perform routine and emergency tests on blood, serum, spinal fluid, and other body fluids using both automated and manual equipment. You'll play a key role in maintaining QA and QC standards while managing specimen processing for timely and accurate results.Position Details:Shift: Night (11:30 PM - 8:00 AM) with alternate weekendsResponsibilities:Conduct testing on various body fluids using manual and automated instrumentsMonitor specimens to ensure timely completionReview test results, report abnormal findings, and resolve quality control issuesPrepare reagents and manage inventoryKeep accurate records and maintain equipment logsProvide leadership and training to technicians as neededRequirements:Bachelor's degree in a physical science or medical technology (preferred)New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or limited permit requiredBenefitsCompetitive pay, $88,000-$110,000 DOE - sign-on bonus for selected candidatesUnion Position!
