Westwood Ridge by Vivie in West St. Paul offers senior living with services to 127 customers, a 37-bed transitional care and rehabilitation center, 24 memory care apartments and 10 care suites. Westwood Ridge is recruiting for a Director of Nursing in their Transitional Care Unit area. The Director of Nursing is responsible for successfully serving as the lead clinical professional for the community. Lead clinical staff in providing quality care to all residents. Responsibilities:Lead clinical staff in providing quality care to all residents.Assist in staff education and transitional management promoting a consistent focus on customer service and quality improvement.Assess clinical competencies of staff and work to develop skill sets.Work collaboratively and cooperatively with residents, families, community providers, administration, and interdisciplinary team members to promote a system of individualized care.Develop clinical programs that meet or exceed the needs of the residents served.Establish and maintain data and information designed to show outcome and improvement measures related to care protocols.Assist in the development of innovative and integrated clinical services within the community.Perform all tasks and duties in a professional, good faith manner with the focus on high quality and Walker Methodist's Mission, Vision, and Values. Schedule:Full-time days, Monday through FridayPreferred Experience: Experience in managing multiple clinical staff and complex medical conditions in acute, sub-acute, transitional or rehabilitation setting preferred. Education: Four-year college degree preferred.
