Certified Top Workplaces- 5 years running!Pay Rate: $16.50Hour, Plus Tips opportunity!PURPOSEThe Food Server is responsible for welcoming guests, accurately taking all food and beverage orders, and making sure they are delivered in a timely manner to the guests satisfaction.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProvide guests with accurate and thorough information regarding menu items, pricing, and allergen informationRecognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat businessTake and enter orders into POS system promptly and accuratelyEnsure all the food and drinks are served immediately and according to specificationsEnsure that all the necessary stock is being replenished during the shiftMove furniture as directed by management, including but not limited to: tables, chairs, bar stools, banquettes, bar tables, boxes, and equipmentRespond to guest concernscomplaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude escalating to management when necessaryComply with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor lawsMaintain company safety and sanitation standardsPrepare guest checks through POS terminal functions. Process guest payments by cash, credit card, venue comps and all other tender typesCollect required signatures from guest and promptly close guest checksEnsure accurate accounting of all monies and independent banking proceduresSign all cash out slips legiblyEnsure complete and proper check out proceduresClean all spills immediately and place all trash in proper receptacles Inform management of any complaint, comments or incidentEnsure nightlyweekly and openingrunningclosing duties are completedRecord and report any equipment failure andor safety hazards to management immediatelyAssists and or completes additional tasks as assignedQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSHigh School Diploma preferredProof of eligibility to work in the United StatesValid Driver's License18+ years of agePossession of or the ability to possess all state required work cardsMinimum of two (2) years related experienceExperience with POS systemsFamiliarity with beer and spiritsProper lifting techniquesGuest relationsSanitation and safetySafe alcohol serviceFull service restaurant operationsAbility to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the publicWORKING CONDITIONSThe working conditions described below are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.
