Senior Corporate Accountant The Senior CorporateAccountant will be part of the team responsible for 606 revenue accounting, maintainingthe general ledger, the monthly close, preparation of SEC filings, assist inthe preparation of the quarterly earnings releases, perform technicalaccounting research, internal controls, and various specialprojects. This position and related activities will requireinterfacing with all levels of Operations, Corporate, and Accounting personnelon a regular basis. Who are we? Job SummarySignificant involvement in the ASC 606 revenue accounting process, including determination of 606 revenues and disclosuresPart of the team responsible for all general accounting activities, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and accounting related analysisAssist with the maintenance of accounting software systems and reportsProvide support andor accounting guidance to other departments or sites, as neededAssist with preparation of support for 10-K and 10-Q disclosures and the tie-out processAssist with the preparation and tie out of quarterly earnings releases and earnings call scriptsAssist with maintaining effective internal controls in accordance with SOX 404 requirementsSupport internal and external audit activitiesResearch technical accounting issues and document conclusionsAssist andor prepare accounting policies and memosProvide process improvement input to help increase overall team efficiency. Lead andor participate in various special projects Required Skills and Qualifications Solid knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.Experience with SEC reporting is preferred.Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with all Microsoft Office software.Hands on experience working with an ERP system (Baan system experience is a plus).Attention to detail as needed to ensure accuracy of financial information.Strong communication skills (written and oral)Ability to work effectively in a team environment Required Experience and EducationBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university.CPA or CPA candidate.Solid knowledge of internal controls and SOX 404 requirements.OneStream experience is a plus. Manufacturing company experience is a plus.Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience within a national Tier 1 or Tier 2 firm.
