As the Blood Bank Manager, provide your expertise to Clinical Laboratory Operations with a focus on Transfusion Medicine. In this highly visible position, you will provide oversight to all areas of the lab including but not limited to operations, staffing & training, budget, QA, and regulatory compliance. Work to the highest capacity of your laboratory career interacting with physician users and all levels of hospital leadership while supporting the Laboratory Director.This is a full-time day shift position. Location is our NYP Westchester (formerly Lawrence Hospital) campus in Bronxville, NY.Preferred CriteriaMaster's DegreeAmerican Society for Clinical Pathology Certification (ASCP) or equivalentRequired CriteriaBachelor of Science Degree (Medical Technology)Meets all requirements of the New York State Department of Health for a Laboratory SupervisorNew York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License from New York Education Department5+ years of management experience including regulatory aspects of practiceComputer literacy and experience in utilization of laboratory computer systemsExperience with computerized spreadsheets, word processors, and other statistical and financial programming#TMJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
