DescriptionThe Clinical Program Coordinator provides administrative oversight to the clinical education component of the Physician Assistant (PA) Program in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Education. The Clinical Program Coordinator provides support to the PA Program's clinical faculty for the overall coordination of clinical year to ensure smooth operations for clinical year students.Position DutiesCoordinate setup of clinical year annually in Exxat and ensure student events, dates and projects updated. Coordinate scheduling of daily clinical events, e. g. call back day, site visits, case presentations, patient education presentations, lecturers, adjuncts and adjuncts. Coordinate scheduling of special clinical year events, e. g. clinical orientation, CFHI presentation, graduation luncheon. Organize and process conference room and classroom space requests. Compile clinical year associated documentation including exams, grade postings on BlackboardExxat, clinical year student filesdocumentation and exam archives. Obtain and monitor the receipt of all clinical evaluations and insure that final grade sheets for all clinical clerkships are submitted in a timely manner. Update and maintain clinical year schedule and grade workbooks. Assure student evaluations are submitted, processed, and filed in a timely manner in compliance with all regulations and accreditation standards. Coordination and compilation of evaluations and clinical site surveys. Assist with call back day activities, lecturers with classroom set up and technical needs. Process updates of clinical site information and preceptors, including clinical site contracts.Assist with clerical duties related to health care clearance. Collaborate with finance department to process clinical affiliate invoices and clinical year budget. Process clinical site agreements, interface with legal department and clinical affiliates. Assist the Director of Clinical Education in the coordination and production of acquired statistical data related to program accreditation. Perform other such duties as may be assigned from time to time.Supervision Exercised Train and supervise department proctors, including delegating appropriate work on a regular basis and assisting with training needs. Assure student evaluations are submitted, processed, and filed in a timely manner in compliance with all regulations and accreditation standards. Interact with current and previous students as well as external contacts including consultants, clinical affiliates, Exxat, NCCPA and PAEA.Position QualificationsBachelor's degree preferred.At least three years of progressively responsible administrative and communication experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Ability and flexibility to learn new software programs a must.Work HoursMonday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours as needed.
