This position will focus on Safety, Efficiency, and Customer Satisfaction. Also making sure to comply with all company policies with responsibility for ensuring all DOT, local, state, & federal regulations are followed. Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for "Delivering the right product to the right place on time safely" Responsible for ensuring every customer is satisfied at the conclusion of their delivery.Responsible for utilizing EPOD technology.Responsible for collecting payments from customers and following the chain of custody procedures upon route completion.Responsible for maintaining your HOS logs in accordance with DOT regulations.Responsible for daily pre trip and post trip inspections on all equipment used and report issues immediately.Works closely with the sales and customer service teams to solve delivery ply with OSHA and DOT standards.Acts in a stewardship capacity for the Company, works as a functional member of the team, has ability to self-direct and self-regulate work-day;Other duties as assignedRequirementsPlacement CriteriaMust have and maintain Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card with a minimum of 2-years CDL driving experience.Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screening and background check.Must maintain FMCSA Clearinghouse clearance;Ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally, and provide exceptional service, both internally and externally at all times.All employees are expected to exhibit exemplary customer service skills, both with external customers, vendors, visitors, co-workers, and management staff. Their written and verbal communication skills should be concise and effective, they should aspire to excellence in both work and customer service, they should show courtesy to all they encounter while representing the Company. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is consistently required to stand, walk, and drive or ride in a commercial motor vehicle and efficiently utilize a delivery ramp with 2 wheel dolly. The employee must consistently lift andor move up to 75 lbs. and must be able to retrieve boxes consistently from a height of 5 &fac12; foot. Salary Description $33.50 hourly
