Job Type Full-timeDescriptionJOB SUMMARY Value Plus Flooring is currently in search of a Cabinet Sales Professional. This position reports directly to the Company President with the responsibility to achieve specified sales and margin goals by providing the highest level of customer service through ongoing product knowledge development and refinement of sales techniques.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develop customerclient relationships and assist customersclients in selection process.Develop and maintain sales materials and keep current on product knowledge and installation.Prepare project bids and ensure jobs meet margin goalsManage projects from start to finish in collaboration with the support teamParticipate in marketing events such as seminars, tradeshows and builder meetings as required.Ensure the showroom and personal workspace are maintained in a neat, clean and orderly manner.Enter and process all paperwork; collaborate with internal team members to resolve questions or issues.Occasionally make jobsite visitsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
