ASE Certified Technician

Woody Buick GMC is seeking experienced ASE Certified Technicians; top performers can expect to earn up to $150,000 annually. We are looking for technicians with the ability to diagnose, repair and a true understanding of why we do multi-point inspections on vehicles. What We Offer:Pension401k PlanHealth InsuranceVision and Dental PlanVacation TimeVehicle Purchase DiscountJob Responsibilities:Perform thorough multipoint inspectionsPerform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency in accordance with dealership and General Motors standardsDiagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specificationProvide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairsExplain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customersContinuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing spect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made. Job Requirements:Technicians (Automotive Mechanic) should be experienced and aware of the current automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as an Automotive Technician: Minimum of three years of experience as a technician (General Motors preferred not required)Experience with automatic transmission and diesel is a plusHold a minimum of three Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certificationsMaintain current factory trainingHold a valid driver's licenseAbility to lift 50 lbs.
