Our goal is to have a positive and long-lasting impact on the lives of the people and communities we serve with the hope of providing the care, support, and attention they need.So it is our pleasure to announce that we are currently seeking a full-time candidate for the role of Custodial-Mover to join our team!By ICL definition, a Custodial-Mover is responsible for cleaning all areas of an assigned facility while attending to minor building maintenance and repairs. This individual will also transport office equipment andor residential household items for relocation services. - activities, tasks, and equipmentvehicle usage vary according to the season and individual needs of the program.To be considered for this role, you MUST adhere to and understand the requirements and tasks listed below...MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:VALID State Driver's License Photo ID - NY, NJ, CT, or PA preferredNo Education Required andor OSHA 30 Certified - a plus but not mandatoryAvailable 5 Days Min. bw Monday to Sunday - Days, Hours, and Location: TBDStrong communication, writing, and conveying skills - bi-lingual is a plus but not mandatory2+ years of custodial AND moving experience - knowledge of safe and efficient cleaning and moving methods preferredProper attire at all times - this includes work pants, boots, and outerinner-wear with the ICL company logo (provided after training)Following all safety guidelines per the performance of the tasks mentioned belowCUSTODIAL-MOVER TASKS:Pest Control - maintain vigilance against pests and report the need for special pest controlMoving - storing, packing, loading, repositioning furniture, and removing large objects off the floor Restrooms - restock toilet tissue and other dispensers, empty trash, sanitize fixtures, mirrors, toilets, etc.Proper use of industrial equipment like floor buffers, and industrial floor washers to clean and finish floorsCleaning - dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, buffering, windows, gumdirt removal, trash, and so onKnowledge of responsible and safe cleaning product usage - ie: clorox, ammonia, isopropyl alcohol, and more...Heavy Lifting, Pushing & Pulling of up to 25+ lbs - the ability to bend, kneel, squat, and stand for long periods is a MUSTRestock carts and closets at the end of each shift - ensure completion of assigned cleaning schedule tasks within each shiftAttend to and fix minor building issues (i.e., leaky faucets, faulty light switches, flooded areas, incidental spills, and related clean-up workTrash - check all containers before moving them, recycling, maintain removal systems including rotation of garbage receptacles, and replace linersGroundskeeping - outside duties such as lawn mowing, bush trimming, snow removal (shoveling), keeping lawns or sidewalks clean, mowing grass, raking leaves, and tending to ornamental gardens, etc. as neededPerform other job-related tasks as assigned in an organized and detail-oriented manner...Please Note: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed satisfactorily.
