This includes the company's fast-growing direct-to-consumer products business, featuring comedic apparel and accessories based on what's trending, as well as our Breezy golf apparel line.Today, Doing Things is looking to expand its team as we extend our reach to bring smiles to millions of new community members across the globe.Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and organized Production Manager with a sense of humor to join our growing organization. As the Production Manager on the video team, you'll be responsible for overseeing production and post-production for editorial video series and brandedsponsored video projects across our portfolio. In this role, you'll be working on videos in all formats for various platforms such Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube. The Production Manager will work closely with the Director of Video Production on ensuring video productions are set up for success as well as completed and delivered within the established timelines. Our ideal candidate is superbly detail-oriented and reliable with strong organizational skills. They love collaborating with others to bring a project to life in the best way possible, but they're also capable of working independently and efficiently. They're someone who is adaptable and driven, as well as has a proven track record of constantly staying on top of timelines and meeting deadlines. This role is NYC based.Responsibilities:In collaboration with the Director of Video Production, oversee the entire lifecycle of video projects from pre-production and production to post-production and publishing, ensuring videos are delivered on time and on budgetCreate timelines and budgets for video series and one-off video projectsManage the primary video calendar across all shows and projectsCollaborate with Creative Producers in pre-production and productionCoordinate and manage editors (both staff and freelance) ensuring they're equipped with everything needed to complete their work on time and up to standard Hire and manage freelance crews for film shoots, both locally and out of stateScout film locations and handle all necessary paperwork and communications in securing themOversee media management operations ensuring video assets are stored and backed up in an organized fashionMaintain and manage production equipment, ensuring it is functional and available when needed, and sourcingpurchasing new equipment when neededAct as a Field Producer in the field, managing film crews and getting appearance releases signed by on camera talent & guestsOversee the editing process and finalization of videos for publishing.Qualifications: 3+ years working as a Production Manager, Associate Producer, or Production Coordinator at a digital media company Excellent organizational skillsExperience with brandedsponsored video contentExperience with social-first, comedic andor entertainment content within various verticalscategoriesFamiliarity with Adobe Premiere Experience working in Frame.ioKnowledge of best practices in media management and workflows (primarily Google Drive)Experience with project workflow tools such as Asana is a plusAn understanding of how business and creative can work together, and how things like ad sales contribute to your ability to make great content.A familiarity with andor appreciation of the accounts under the Doing Things umbrella.Demonstrated track record of optimizing social-first content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)What We Offer:At Doing Things, you make an immediate impact. The base salary for this position at the time of posting will range from $80,000.00 to $85,000.00.
