Ware Presbyterian Village, an extension of Presbyterian Senior Living, is a seeking a dynamic, energized, motivated and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our 90-bed health care center located in Oxford, PA. The Director of Nursing is responsible for the compliance of all federal, state, local and corporate regulations; developing and maintaining nursing policies, procedures, objectives and practice standards; managing budgetary guidelines; assisting with the budget process; managing records, documentation and reports per policies and regulations. Qualifications:Active Registered Nurse licensure (in state position is located) requiredActive CPR requiredWound Certification requiredInfection Preventionist Certification requiredThree-years' Long-Term Care or Rehab experience One-year management experience Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferredResponsibilities and Expectations:Develops and maintains nursing policies, procedures, objectives and practice standardsPrepares schedules within budgetary guidelines and ensures; assists with budget processMaintains and prepares records, documentation and reports as required by policies and regulationsActs as a catalyst for quality improvementPerforms daily rounding on residents and team membersRemains compliant with all federal, state, local and corporate regulationsCreates, maintains and supports a safe work environment and work practicesResponsible for the Comprehensive Resident Assessment and Interdisciplinary Plan of Care processAssists with maintenance of nursing policies, procedures, objectives and standards of practiceParticipates in talent acquisition process, training, supervision and corrective action for nursing teamEvaluates job performance and reviews peer evaluations for assigned team membersParticipates in preparation of nursing schedules to assure adequate staffing and quality careConducts regular team meetings for all shiftsMaintains accurate resident census reportsAssists with licensure and certification trackingMaintains budgetary control of supply inventory, cost containment and nursing teamDevelops positive relationships and is accessible to all residents, families, visitors and team membersPromotes and supports culture of patient centered care and serviceCommittee Participation:Admissions CommitteeQuality Assurance CommitteeRisk Management CommitteePharmacy CommitteeInfection Control Committee
