If so, the Recreation Leader position might be right for you!The Recreation Leader works directly with other departmental staff members to provide assistance in the administration of programs and activities such as the Afterschool Program, Alta Vista Community Center, Teen Programs, and Senior Programs. We also have summertime seasonal opportunities available for cashiers and maintenance staff at Seaside Lagoon. This post is continuous and may close at any time without notice. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONSThe duties for this part-time position may include but not be limited to the following: Participating in staff trainings and meetings, promoting the program, recruiting participants, keeping accurate records, ensuring participant safety, and planning, organizing, leading, and supervising daily activities. Activities include but are not limited to group games, sports, arts and crafts, special events and contests.
