Job Posting: Virtual Staff Therapist (Licensure in AR, CA, KY, MD, NC, OH, OR, TN, VA, or WA.)Position Summary:As a key member of our care team, the Staff Therapist provides virtual patient care through video and telephonic appointments. This role plays a crucial part in shaping the future of virtual mental health care, making services more accessible, affordable, and effective for all. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work independently without supervision.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult and adolescent mental health patients.Provide outpatient tele-mental health therapy services through video and phone communication channels, ensuring the highest standard of care.Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely and comprehensive patient care.Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records, reports, test results, and medical assessments to diagnose and treat patients effectively.Conduct patient interviews to assess needs and develop tailored treatment plans.Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and meetings with directors as required.Consistently meet or exceed clinical quality and patient care standards in adherence to department policies and procedures.Maintain up-to-date and accurate medical records.Demonstrate familiarity with various virtual healthcare services, including medical second opinions, treatment decision support, virtual primary care, and tele-dermatology.Support the Medical Director and product team in the development of new services.Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and federal and state health information privacy laws.Supervisory Responsibilities:None.Qualifications:Experience with evidence-based psychotherapy treatments for PTSD, anxiety, and depressive disorders preferred.Strong passion for delivering high-quality mental health care.Ability to provide both individual and family therapy preferred.Expertise in psychotherapy with strong communication and conflict resolution skills.Attention to detail and commitment to timely patient terest in advancing virtual healthcare solutions.Willingness to obtain additional state licensure as required (funded by the company).Required Qualifications:Minimum of 3+ years of independent clinical practice experience in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions.Licensure to function independently and without supervision in all states in which an active license is held.Must have the following educational requirements:Master's degree or higher in social work from a CSWE-accredited graduate pletion of supervised training hours under a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), as required by state regulations.Licensure Requirements:Active LICSW or LCSW certification (as applicable by state for independent practice).Licensure for independent clinical practice in any U.S. state or the District of Columbia.Certification as an LPC, LMHC, LPCC, or LMFT in California, Texas, or New York (as applicable by state).Licensure in AR, CA, KY, MD, NC, OH, OR, TN, VA, or WA.Work Environment:Remote Position (virtual care model)Physical Requirements:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.Equal Opportunity Employer Statement:We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
