Work on D.O.T.. safety sensitive product Performs related tasks as assigned. Your Profile as a Mechanic in Commercial Vehicle: High School diploma or GED required Technical or vocational school or 3+ years mechanical product experience Must be able to read and write English. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Strong computer skills required. Valid Driver's License Knowledge of hand or pneumatic tools; forklift andor pallet jack experience. Previous lean manufacturing experience preferred. Previous experience with SAP andor Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred. Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to stand for extended periods of time; 60 minutes continuously up to 6 hours per 10 hour day, walk up to 2 miles per day, handle or feel objects andor tools; operate power tools; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; bend, verbally communicate; and hear safety indicators. The associate must frequently an repetitively lift and or move up to 40 pounds.
