Senior International Property Underwriter - East Region

If so, we want to hear from you!About the Role:Our Property Team is looking for a Senior International Underwriter with recognized experience and visibility in the Commercial Property insurance market (East Region) and a successful track record in underwriting both Global and Domestic large and medium sized Corporates. Responsibilities include:•Manage a portfolio of accounts including fronted global Property programs•Analyze and underwrite exposures including Natural Catastrophe hazards and assess technical insurability and coverages for new and renewal property submissions•Work with a cross-functional team to deliver innovative international program solutions that meet customer needs and Swiss Re objectives•Build relationships with our clients and brokers.About the Team:We are a diverse and inclusive team that works well in a collaborative environment while fostering and developing independent thought. Our team works with brokers situated in the Central United States. About You:You are a strong communicator, able to build partnerships with external customers and internal co-workers. You are a strong negotiator, results oriented, and take responsibility for your decisions.•Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial property insurance underwriting of medium to large corporate accounts.•Experience in structuring and fronting of Global Programs preferred. Experience working with Captives a plus•Knowledge of complex shared and layered program structures as well as 100% Single Carrier business is desired.•Experience across diverse occupancies including heavy manufacturing preferred.•Strong broker network.Some travel within the region including air travel for clientbroker meetings will be required.* The role could be located in our NYC (NY), Windsor (CT), or Alpharetta (GA) office. Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office (or out visiting clients) three days per week. We have a Hybrid work environment.For New York City the estimated base salary range for this position is $156,000 to $246,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexityspecializationscarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.
