Assistant Branch Manager - Cantonese andor Mandarin SpeakingJoin an established Community Bank in Queens!About the RoleAre you an experienced banking professional with strong leadership skills? We're seeking a dynamic Assistant Branch Manager who speaks Cantonese andor Mandarin to help lead the daily operations of our branch and provide top-notch customer service. In this role, you'll work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure smooth branch operations, and step into the Branch Manager's role when they are absent. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within a community-oriented bank while making a positive impact on our diverse customer base.Key Responsibilities:Support the Branch Manager with daily operations and oversee branch activities, including teller services, customer inquiries, and office maintenance.Act as the Branch Manager when they're away, ensuring the smooth operation of the branch, from supervising staff to handling branch security, and approving transactions.Create a welcoming environment by maintaining an open-door policy for staff feedback and addressing employee concerns.Lead performance evaluations and enforce policies, including the necessary disciplinary actions when required.Manage scheduling, staff assignments, and time off, ensuring the branch is adequately staffed at all times.Take charge of security procedures, testing, and staff training to maintain a safe and secure environment for both customers and employees.Be the go-to person for customer assistance and support, helping with any questions or issues that arise.Supervise and monitor branch cash, inventories, and branch supplies, and ensure adherence to audit and compliance procedures.Participate in a rotating Saturday schedule, providing leadership and operational support as needed.Desired Skills & Experience:Cantonese andor Mandarin speaking to effectively communicate with our diverse clientele.High school diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in branch operations.Strong organizational and leadership skills to supervise and guide a dedicated team.Ability to work well under pressure and handle sensitive banking transactions and customer issues with professionalism.Why Join Us?As an integral part of our Queens-based community bank, you'll be at the forefront of providing exceptional service and leadership in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
