Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe Early Intervention Coordinator makes a significant impact on the families of deafhard of hearing infants and toddlers in the NYC area and the professionals who work with them through the supervision of the day-to-day operations of Clarke's Early Intervention program. The EI Coordinator develops, improves, and implements Clarke's Early Intervention program policies and procedures, increases enrollment, and works directly with families receiving Clarke's services, referral sources, Early Intervention officials, and other stakeholders.Essential DutiesResponsibilities:Manage all aspects of the transition to EI-Hub, both internally and externally.Oversee implementation and compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations and policiesprocedures of the program.- Train all new and existing EI staff on policies and procedures.- Conduct regular meetings with therapists, -AT provider, and fiscal staff.- Lead city and state audits and audit preparation- Supervise timely submission of session notes, evaluations, and progress reports.Liaise with EI officials, community members, and other stakeholders and represent the organization on committees, workgroups, taskforces, etc.- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, including schools and healthcare providers.- Be the first contact for all EI related questions and service provision- Conduct outreach to increase awareness of Clarke's specialized services to local communities.Manage the day-to-day tasks related to EI Hub, such as:- Manage service authorizations and new referrals- Conduct communication through secure file transfer in HCS- Addremove providers and other users- Oversee billing activitiesEnsure required documentation and child records are complete- Monitor weekly service logs for billing- EI record maintenance and compliancequality assurance- Obtain consents, prescriptions for evaluations, and medical clearance for amplification- Communicate staff absences or missed sessions, changes in provider, gaps in service to the SC.Ensure that families and children receive high quality services and support at Clarke- Conduct outreach to service coordinators and new families for Clarke's services- Ensure a seamless transition for children from EI to other services as needed through parent workshops,discussion's with service coordinators and other activities.- Address issues or concerns expressed by families or providers.- Coordinate family activities in collaboration with the Program Administrator.Assistive Technology Coordinator-review all ATMNJ packets prior to their submission to NYC ATU and monitor the approval and follow up process for related equipment.Other Duties:Provide back up with front office tasks in absence of office managerParticipate in regional and state-wide provider meetings as neededParticipate in professional development activities and trainingsRepresent Clarke during other activities, as requestedOther duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher5+ years of experience with the NYSNYC Early Intervention Program in a supervision roleExperience with NYEIS, EI Hub and EI BillingDeep understanding of EI principles, regulations, practices, and policies, as well asStrong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal and written communication skillsAble to meet timelines and deadlines.Self-reflective, able to apply feedback and flexibleBilingualSpanish - English RequiredPhysical demands:Extensive computer workFilingLifting up to 10 pounds, moving, organizing files and binders of records Salary Description $35.00-$40.00hour
