Must have weekend availability.This position is designed and intended to be performed at 351 Elm St, Milford, NH.POSITION SUMMARY:The Senior Store Associate role is responsible for demonstrating exceptional customer service and sales skills on a regular basis. Obtaining product knowledge will serve as a key component as you assist customers and share your wide range of knowledge in your specialized area. This position is required to effectively manage and oversee sales, reconcile transactions, and prepare daily deposits. Managing inventory is another area of importance as the individual is required to purchase, price, and order merchandise. This position is structured for an action-oriented individual who leads by example and has the ability to spend extended periods of time walking and standing.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Exceptional Sales SpecialistSuccessfully operate computer POS systemManage inventory through merchandising, purchasing, pricing, and orderingProcess and label ordersReceive incoming products and determine retail priceManage cash and credit card transactionsReconcile end of day sales and prepare depositReview and manage available vendor promotionsInside store maintenance including cleaning customer area, restrooms, breakroom, stockroom, and shelvingStock shelves in retailDesign merchandise displaysSpecialize in ag-related knowledgeObtain product knowledge through independent researchContribute to the care and handling of live animals within the storeProvide exceptional customer serviceAnswer customer inquiries pertaining to productsEffectively communicate with the warehouse staff to coordinate timely customer pick-upAssist in the Warehouse when neededOther duties as assigned by Store ManagementEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GED equivalentMust have 1-2 years' experience as a Store Associate at Blue Seal or similar retailerHave a solid work historyCustomer service skillsAnimal, retail and agriculture knowledge helpfulWork independently as well as with othersPosition requires working outside in all weather conditionsAbility to Lift 50 poundsPosition requires standing most of the dayAbility to pass pre-employment drug screen & physical
