Video/Projection Crew Chief

The Metropolitan Opera seeks an experienced videoprojection systems technician with experience working in large scale live theatrical andor broadcast presentation environments. The Electric-Video Department is responsible for videoprojection systems integration, maintenance, and operationsrun crew for all Opera repertory and special event videoprojection as well as in-house support for meetings and presentations. This position is represented by Local One I.A.T.S.E. under a collective bargaining agreement.Rate of Pay: $30.74 per hour per CBA.Primary ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Electrics Department, lead videoprojection operations by scheduling work assignments, supervising daily operations, and submitting payroll entry.Maintain Met Opera Production Video network and equipment inventory in working order.Support Head Electrician in preparation of operating and capital budgets and funding requests to maintain suitable equipment inventory for all scheduled presentationsterface with Production department and in-housevisiting Design teams to develop requirements for New Production video effects, equipment, and infrastructure.Maintain expert knowledge of Disguise video platform programming and operation.
