Job Responsibilities:Working with stakeholders to ensure we meet the needs of our business while staying in budget.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and report on vendor performance metrics, ensuring consistent service quality and alignment with organizational objectives.Facilitate routine communications between the organization and vendors, acting as a primary point of contact to ensure seamless collaboration and timely resolution of inquiries.Contributes to solution architectures across specific domains, evaluating alternatives based on cost, performance, and scalability, while documenting key decisions.Crafts specifications for both cloud and on-premises components and ensures that solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, including security, while supporting project and change initiatives with technical plans.Develops models and plans aligned with the business strategy, focusing on enhancing performance and capitalizing on opportunities.Contributes to systems capability strategies, determining requirements and specifying effective business processes through technological, organizational, and procedural improvements.Oversees the innovation pipeline, developing tools and processes to bolster innovation, while ensuring the availability of necessary resources and capabilities.Fosters a culture of creativity by motivating innovation communities, facilitating open communication of ideas, and establishing robust innovation networks.Monitors external trends to identify emerging technologies, evaluates their potential impacts and opportunities for the organization, and crafts technology roadmaps while disseminating insights to the team.Offers guidance on the adoption and tailoring of methods and tools in accordance with standards, while continually reviewing and enhancing their application and adherence to policies.Overseecoordinate supporting technical work required with other Five Below IT teams, including infrastructure (e.g., network, DevOps) and upstream and downstream system owners (warehouse management systems, order management systems, InfoSec, etc.)Develop code, scripts, and designs per business requirements when needed.Conduct and lead design, code and configuration reviews.Participate in Agile rituals -daily standups, iteration planning, story huddles, retrospectives, creation of burn up chart's inceptions, document technical work in technical stories using JIRA board, and estimate (using agile pointsstory sizing techniques) the work effort required to complete those stories.Design complex software applications, components and modules using appropriate modelling techniques following agreed software design standards, guidelines, patterns and methodology.Develops road maps to communicate future development activity.Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to on shore and offshore team members.Overseecoordinate supporting technical work required with other Five Below IT teams, including infrastructure (e.g., network, DevOps) and upstream and downstream system owners (warehouse management systems, order management systems, InfoSec, etc.)Collaborate with product and system teams to ensure thorough test coverage and identify areas for process enhancement.Analyze and report on test outcomes, including results, challenges, and risks, even when reviewing others' work.Plans and drives development projects which support the organization's objectives and plans.Develops road maps to communicate future development activityIdentifies and evaluates alternative design options and trade-offs. Creates multiple design views to address the concerns of the different stakeholders and to handle functional and non-functional requirements.Leads the design and refinement of complex software configurations for deployment, collaborates on method and tool selection, ensures adherence to standards for quality outcomes, and actively engages in both self-review and peer-review processes.Collaborate closely with the operations team to conduct root cause analysis on intricate challenges, ensuring a thorough understanding and resolution.Assesses and analyses release components for input to release scheduling, and ensuring proper change control is documented and followed.Qualifications:Bachelors or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent5+ years architecting, designing and solutioning in a multi-cloud hybrid ecosystem7+ years delivering solutions to complex business problems, retail and OMS, collaborating with cross functional teams including infrastructure, Infosec, compliance, product owners and engineering vendorsExperience with Agile, Continuous Integration, TDD, Continuous Delivery, Pairing, Automated TestingGood prioritization, negotiation, and communication skillsGood knowledge of design patternsExperience in developing applications using reactJS, NodeJSExperience with cloud architectures: AWS, Azure, GCPExperience with MDM solutions like SOTI, touch with mobile handhelds and scannerServe as the subject matter expert on Manhattan Associates (MA) Warehouse Management System (WMOS, MIF, SCI, TMS, Oracle etc.,) or equivalent based on an in-depth knowledge of application featuresfunctions and the unique business requirements of the client. Experience with Manhattan active WMS platform is a good to have for future needs including any other SaaS solutions for transportation and warehouse control and execution Ex: Dematicdevices used in ship centers, experience with printers and firmware is a good to have.
