Organizational OverviewDetroit Regional Dollars for Scholars (DRDFS) empowers and supports students throughout Southeast Michigan to achieve post-secondary success. Founded in 1990, DRDFS provides equitable opportunities for students to access and earn a post-secondary degree, reach their goals, and strengthen our communities.Through our Next Level Scholars Program, scholars are engaged beginning in 10th grade and continue through post-secondary credential or degree attainment. The program inspires and prepares scholars to pursue post-secondary education, which we accomplish through tailored campus visits, SAT preparation, leadership workshops, FAFSA completion, one-on-one coaching and more. DRDFS awards each scholar a $4,000 scholarship upon high school graduation and continues to provide resources, coaching and support until they earn a post-secondary degree or credential. We are proud that our scholars outpace their peers in post-secondary enrollment, persistence, and graduation.Over the past 35 years, what started as a small group of committed neighbors who established the organization to support their local school has evolved into a comprehensive, award winning post-secondary access and success program, serving 16 partner high schools and more than 1,000 scholars across Southeast Michigan annually.OpportunityDetroit Regional Dollars for Scholars is currently seeking a detail-oriented, goal driven and passionate Success Program Manager. As the Success Program Manager, you will play a critical role in leading our strategy for our scholars to reach 80% degree or credential attainment. The Success Program Manager will lead the coaching team, foster and maintain key partnerships, and lead the overall scholar and alumni engagement strategies. This role would report to the Next Level Scholars Program Director, while working closely with the entire team.The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, data-focused, experienced in leading teams through continuous improvement and is capable of managing their workload in a fast-paced, non-profit environment. In this role, the Success Program Manager will have the opportunity to further our mission of empowering and supporting students to achieve post-secondary success by enhancing and continuously improving our robust, high quality, effective and impactful college success program for over 600 scholars annually in the Next Level Scholars Program and a growing network of Alumni.This is a full-time position based in Plymouth, MI.Next Level Scholars Coaching Program ManagementProvide support, guidance and leadership to coaching team through onboarding, scheduled 1:1s, review processes, and general day-to-day operations.Collaborate and coordinate scholar support, engagement and communication efforts with coaching team.Continuously improve coaching program by researching and listening to scholar feedback in order to implement best practices.Prepare and deliver clear reports on coaching team performance and key metrics to provide strategic insights to the Program Director and organizational leadership that support informed decision-making and program enhancements.Data Tracking and ReportingStrengthen and implement systems to track scholar enrollment, persistence and graduation to inform Impact Metrics.Maintain, monitor and track scholar's data and notes related to programming, impact metrics and other related information within Salesforce database in order to make strategic decisions for the success program.Key PartnershipsManage resource partnerships including, but not limited to, Career Spring and .Develop relationships with college support systems, partner organizations, and other community resources to connect scholars to services required to ensure post-secondary success.Scholar Communication and EngagementPlan, coordinate, and lead all scholar success events; attend and support all other events.Work to improve program systems and develop initiatives that encourage scholar engagement and development.Set and track annual success program calendar and budget.Success Committee Staff Liaison: Lead all Success Committee meetings.Set goals and complete necessary research and material preparation for meeting discussion.Manage all committee member communications and meeting materials, including compiling and sending the meeting minutes to the CommitteeContinuously work on open projects in a timely anizational ResponsibilitiesContribute to DRDFS' mission, vision and long term strategic plans as a dedicated and flexible team member.Qualifications:Requires a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.5 or more years working in the College AccessSuccess or other related field.1 to 3 years managing direct reports effectively to reach measured outcomes with a continuous improvement approachExperience with using Salesforce or other related CRM to track key metrics and drive strategic decision-makingHighly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated; able to take initiative, manage, and complete multiple tasks within deadlines and within mitment to ongoing self-improvement and professional development.Emotionally mature; able to handle difficult and complex scholar situations.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with frequently changing variables.Strong teamwork, interpersonal and coaching skills for both peers and scholars.Desire to empower and support scholars to achieve post-secondary success.Bi-lingual fluency in English and Spanish or Arabic a anizational Culture and ValuesAll team members are expected to demonstrate our organizational culture and values, also known as our ways of being.
