They are responsible for performing all Interventional Radiology Procedures required within the Department of Radiology.Responsibilities:Performs interventional procedures as required conforming to safe radiation practicesInteracts as a member of the Interventional Radiology staff involved in the time out processParticipates in training of new staff as required by lead techWorks directly in IR procedure room alongside of interventional radiologistMinimum QualificationsAssignment Level IV1. Valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH; and2. Possession of a current advanced-level certification in the appropriate specialty area; and3.
