Join our team and help us keep communities connected.Your OpportunityStantec's multi-disciplinary office on 5th Avenue in NYC has an opportunity for a highly motivated Transportation Engineering Intern.This is a paid internship position with full time or part-time hours during Summer of 2025. We believe training, collaboration, and connections are strengthened by working alongside team members. Therefore, this is primarily an office position with limited remote work (if any) anticipated. Your Key ResponsibilitiesCollect traffic data via publicly available sources and field visits.Analyze traffic data using Microsoft Excel or Programming languages.Develop tools to improve efficiency of data analysis or forecasting. Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned. Your Capabilities and CredentialsProgramming languages such as Python, JavaMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft Word and PowerPointDetail-orientedAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and team environmentExcellent oral, written, and graphic communication skillsAn interest in transportation planning and engineeringEducation and ExperienceApplicants must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program. Position will primarily be in an office setting; may require some field work to collect data.
