The VSC or Vitual Senior Center are vibrant community of teachers, innovators, and learners combating social isolation in older adults through technology. Our goal is to see every older adult smiling on screen, learning about and engaging with the rest of the world from the comfort of their own homes. The Virtual Engagement & Quality Specialist plays a critical role in enhancing the quality of live virtual classes by ensuring an engaging and seamless experience for both members and facilitators. This role involves evaluating facilitators, assessing member engagement, and implementing best practices to improve the overall live class experience.Live Class Observation & SupportAttend and observe live virtual classes to provide technical and administrative support for facilitators and participants.Troubleshoot common technical issues to ensure smooth session delivery.Facilitator Evaluation & DevelopmentConduct comprehensive facilitator evaluations, considering: Technical competencyParticipant engagement strategiesAudio and video quality, including virtual backgroundsOverall presentation and effectivenessProvide constructive feedback to facilitators and collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator for follow-up.Identify and promote training opportunities to enhance facilitator skills.Member Engagement & Feedback AnalysisMonitor and track participant engagement to assess the effectiveness of facilitators and class content.Gather qualitative and quantitative feedback from members to measure impact and satisfaction.Best Practices & Content StrategyDevelop and implement a comprehensive set of best practices for virtual engagement, ensuring an interactive and enriching experience.Work collaboratively to curate and refine content that aligns with organizational objectives and enhances the overall virtual learning experience.Adhere to organization's standards by completing annual mandatory trainings in a timely manner on topics including - but not limited to - Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, IT Security Awareness, Compliance, OSHA, HIPAA and any other training the organization may deem necessary in regards to regulatory compliance or good business practices.Supports organization's mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers.Adheres to the organization's policy in regards to absenteeism and appearanceSalary Ranges: $35 - $40 per hour commensurate with experienceJob Competencies & Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field (education, communications, online learning, or social work).Experience in evaluating and enhancing engagement, ideally in virtual environments.Background in age tech, online content development, or digital literacy initiatives is a plus.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for providing facilitator feedback and engaging with members.Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and analyze engagement trends.Problem-solving mindset with the ability to exercise sound judgment and adapt to evolving virtual learning needs.Proficiency in digital tools and platforms, including Zoom, content management systems, and data tracking tools.Working ConditionsPhysical Demand:Ability to work from home Equal Opportunity EmployerProtected VeteransIndividuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
