POSITION SUMMARYUSA Lacrosse is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Partnerships team. You will cultivate relationships with your assigned USA Lacrosse corporate partnership accounts, as well as develop new relationships, ensuring all partners are satisfied with and receiving return on their investment because of their relationship with USA Lacrosse, allowing us to increase revenue and build brand awareness. In this critical role you will oversee the planning, management, execution, and growth of revenue for USAL through their corporate partnership accounts. You will get to work alongside our SR Account Manager and Corporate Partnership team to create and execute sales opportunities allowing USA Lacrosse to grow and be a valuable brand partner to the organizations we partner with us so we can continue to grow the sport of lacrosse and field the best National Teams. A Typical Day Looks Like...Assists in creating the strategic vision for partnership relationships for incremental growth and identifies new partnership account relationship opportunities and pursues those in collaboration with the SR Account Manager. Leads the day-to-day management, activation, and development of USA Lacrosse and U.S. National Teams official and supporting partners (approximately five (5) to seven (7) accounts). This includes identifying upsell opportunities and leading and managing all renewals. Oversees the management of an additional five (5) to ten (10) platform-focusedevent sponsors, including, but not limited to account activation and tracking to ensure completion of required deliverables. This includes escalating any issues or anticipated challengesconcerns as necessary. Develops a strong understanding for each account's business needs, including their industry, their competition, business challengesopportunities, marketing goals, budget processes, and other relevant information to ensure a successful relationship. This includes providing ideas and recommendations that align with the organization's goals and objectives to help grow their business using USAL's assets and resources.Manages and maintains an organized tracking system for all USA Lacrosse partner deliverables, ensuring each element of partner contracts are successfully fulfilled for success of the relationship. This includes maintaining account history In TRAK and Salesforce and escalating late or unfulfilled deliverables and alerting the SR Account Manager of any potential challenges. Provides thorough monthly reports, including proof of performance, to all partner accounts including measurement, demonstrated ROI and ROO, and tells the story of the partnership through images, data, and successes of the partnership in action throughout the year.Leads the coordination with the USA Lacrosse events team for partnership activation layouts, clinic involvement, and hospitalityappreciation events for USA Lacrosse events (i.e., pre-event receptions) and the USA Lacrosse Experience. This Includes overseeing brand positioning and representation of USA Lacrosse marks for all partnership programs. Attends internal and external meetings and special events to provide representation and support at USAL events as required (i.e., Hall of Fame, USA Lacrosse Experience, National Team training camps, etc.). Serves as the liaison for the partnership team and interacts with internal departments, external constituencies, and partners to maintain open lines of communication and facilitate collaboration to support partnership initiatives. Develops Digideck, PowerPoint and other presentation materials to represent USA Lacrosse and associated partnerships to show others why they should partner with our organization for a productive, win-win relationship for revenue growth and increased brand awareness. Provides support to the partnership team through fact-finding research for new business opportunitiesprospects, completes industry specific research, develops inventoryassets, and evaluates new sponsorship activation trends. Continually conducts research on the market to learn and stay up to date on industry best-practices to keep USA Lacrosse on the cutting edge of strategic partnerships to grow revenue and provide valuable resources and relationships for our partners and members. Is This You...3 to 5 years of experience in account management, marketing, or sales. Experience in a sports environment or agency client-based environment a plus. Previous work experience in a non-profit, association, or other member-based organization a plus. Proven experience building relationships and delivering based on agreed upon expectations to ensure appropriate ROI for vendorpartner relationships. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Salesforce and sponsorship platforms, such as Trak a plus. Familiarity with Adobe Suite, Media Valet, Digideck preferred. Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines, and exceptional attention to detail and follow up skills. Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal.Ability to exercise discretion and understand how to handle confidential information when necessary.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a hybrid (in-officeremote work) environment in a fast-paced, "roll up your sleeves" environment that delivers results. Strong work ethic with a strategic and proactive approach. Ability to present a professional and assertive persona to negotiate, build relationships, and establish credibility and trust. Ability to be flexible with your work schedule, including the ability to travel for events and work nights and weekends based on USA Lacrosse events. Willingness to learn about the sport of lacrosse and appreciate the need to develop, grow, and fuel the growth of the sport with diversity, inclusion, and equity in mind. Expected Hours of WorkThis position is generally expected to work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and occasionally requires longer hours or weekend work as related to events and other business needs. This is a hybrid position and works from the headquarters office in Sparks, MD three (3) days a week with the flexibility to work from home two (2) days a week. Compensation & Benefits OverviewThe total compensation pay range (inclusive of base salary plus annual incentive pay potential) for this position is $55,000 to $62,500, commensurate with experience.USA Lacrosse offers a competitive benefits package including, but not limited to,Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, offering multiple options for Medical and Dental (eligible the first of the month following 30 days of employment). Company paid life and AD&D at one time an employee's salary up to $50,000 and company paid long term disability (LTD) at one year of employment.403(b) retirement plan (eligible immediately upon hire), including a 4% employer contribution at one year of employment.
