General Purpose:To prepare food in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, the facility's established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator andor Director of Food Services, to ensure that quality food service is always provided.Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageMust show ability to read, write and follow oral and written directionsMust speak and understand EnglishPrevious experience or completion of appropriate training programPositive attitude toward the elderlyServe Safe Certified Preferred; but would be required to obtain within 90 days of hireEssential Job Functions (With or Without Reasonable Accommodation):Dietary FunctionsPrepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus and established portion control procedures; assist in ensuring proper storage of raw and leftover foods; assist and direct the daily or scheduled cleaning duties; and perform all daily tasks in accordance with established Universal Precautions and sanitary, safety and infection control policies and procedures.
