The successful candidate will play a critical role in negotiating and coordinating trading agreements, including ISDAs (International Swaps and Derivatives Association agreements), GMRAs (Global Master Repurchase Agreements), MRAs (Master Repurchase Agreements), CDEAs (Cleared Derivatives Execution Agreements), and other ancillary documents, including CSAs (Credit Support Annexes), confirmations, master confirmation agreements, amendments, and other related side letters. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Derivatives Documentation Management:•Draft, review, negotiate, and manage ISDAs, MRAs, GMRAs, CDEAs, CSAs, and other relevant agreements with counterparties.•Ensure that all agreements are in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.Maintain and update a centralized database of all trading agreements.Stakeholder Coordination:•Collaborate with legal, compliance, risk management, operations, sales and trading, and other internal teams to align agreement terms with business and regulatory requirements.•Serve as the primary point of contact for counterparties regarding agreement-related inquiries and negotiations.•Facilitate communication between internal departments to ensure efficient and effective agreement execution.•Ensure alignment at all times with the Global Derivatives Documentation Team.Documentation and Reporting:•Prepare and maintain detailed records of all agreement negotiations, amendments, and terminations.•Generate regular reports on the status of agreements and present findings to senior management.•Ensure all documentation is accurately filed and easily accessible for audit and examination purposes.Risk and Compliance:•Conduct periodic reviews of trading agreements to identify and mitigate risks.•Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting trading agreements and ensure compliance with new requirements.•Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to trading agreements.Training and Development:•Provide training and guidance to junior staff on the specifics of trading agreements.•Stay abreast of industry best practices and continuously seek opportunities for process improvements.Qualifications:Education:•Juris Doctor.Experience:•Financial Markets knowledge, either through an internship or educational specialization.Skills:Understanding of derivatives, financial markets and market practices.•Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.•Ability to ensure return of signed documents and completion and closing of files.•Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.•Ability to work independently and as part of a team on the trading pensation:•Competitive salary and benefits package, including performance-based bonuses.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $90,000 to $100,000.
