Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Strategic Sourcing, this individual will manage, oversee and execute sourcing, negotiation, and contracting activities across indirect and direct categories including but not limited to professional services, human resources, shared services and general business areas providing management, oversight and execution of associated activities in collaboration with Market Leaders, Partners, Stakeholders and Negotiation & Contracting Teams.Occasional travel is required. If you're an experienced sourcing, negotiation and contracting professional who has a successful record of operating in a complex, global environment and thrives on value generation, collaboration, transparency, and visibility, this is the opportunity for you.THE GAME PLANEveryone on our team has a part to playEngage, foster relationships, and collaborate with stakeholders across S2P and business areas domestically and internationally.Provide guidance and ensure leveraging of existing relationships globally, mitigate supply chain risks, generate value, and ensure compliance with policies, processes and procedures end to end.Implement and execute strategic sourcing, negotiation, contracting methodology and category management principles for associated focus areas including, but not limited to strategic planning, business alignment and execution.Manage and lead sourcing, negotiating, and contracting activities in support of Customer Operations Payments Internal Business Partners and General business areas as assigned.Assess opportunities, develop requirements, lead RFx events, identify, engage, and select suppliers, and contract for goods and services globally.Consistently conduct market research leveraging both internal and external SMEs, information, professional networks, and market intelligence sources to understand market, demand, and supplier trends, mitigate risks, and potential value generation (Hard Savings, Avoidances, Payment Terms etc.) opportunities.Develop strategic sourcing and category plans with estimated costs and potential savings based on identified opportunities, expected demand, and contract renewal pipeline.Manage complex negotiations, draft, and execute contracts in close collaboration with Stakeholders, Legal, Cyber Security, Supplier Management, and other relevant business partners to ensure inclusion of aligned requirements, scope, SLAs, commercial provisions, and risk mitigation.Drive business partner understanding and adherence to our policies, procedures and processes through collaboration, guidance, training.Meet or exceed Value Generation goals inclusive of yearly Hard Savings, Avoidance, Payment Terms, etc. through collaboration, partnerships, and negotiations.Execute initiatives and projects as required and assigned by Director of Director of Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Risk & Performance.THE STATSWhat we're looking for in our next teammateBachelor's degree and 5+ years of sourcing, negotiation, contracting, procurement and stakeholder management experience or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.Our ideal candidate will have a breath of knowledge in the Customer Operations Payment space as well as general business areas."Business Curious" and eager to invest time building effective relationships with internal stakeholders to fully understand our business, build confidence and be a trusted advisor.Understanding of the commercial environment and the management of internal and external partners.Strong commercial and negotiation skills and proven Value Generation results.Excellent listening and communication skills with ability to present ideas in a concise and organized manner.Strong attention to detail, project management skills, results oriented and well organized.Respectful, collaborative, and experienced in working with multi-functional and cross-cultural teams.Flexibility to collaborate with team members across time zones when needed.Proficiency in S2P tools, such as Oracle, Coupa, SAPAriba, etc.Strong Microsoft Suite proficiency required.PLAYER BENEFITSWe treat our team rightFrom our many opportunities for professional development to our generous insurance and paid leave policies, we're committed to making sure our employees get as much out of FanDuel as we ask them to give. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation.
