Job DescriptionThe Director of Cardiology is Responsible for directing and coordinating operations within the cardiology departments including Cardiology, Cardiac Cath lab, Neurology, Cardiac Rehab, and related specialized services. This role develops objectives and policies for these areas and organizes, coordinates and monitors activities. Position requires knowledge in management principles, finance, budget, performance improvement, accreditation, team building, cardiology standards, evidenced based practice and provider relations. Works collaboratively across all services with leadership and staff to improve the quality of care, strengthen the financial performance of the service line and improve patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. Leads by example. Works with the team to promote high value performance.
