Operations Assistant

Primary Purpose of the Job:To provide administrative assistance to the operations teams and to help coordinate the day-to-day activities in the operations department.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain truck logs, dispatch and check-in of drivers, headcounttruck forecasting, and provide operational updates to teams on a needed basisShip, maintain, and monitor AGI for issues with ordersInform Quality Control of any variancesVerify invoice and driver logsProcess returns and create return reports and work with inventory control and logistics teams to coordinate all returns and re-deliveriesAssist with the WMS systemData entry and other clerical duties for warehouse office as assignedAssist transportation managers in all clerical tasks on a needed basisMonitor Security System and be first in line of responseWork collaboratively with other staff members to accomplish goals and objectives of the operationsAssignadjust routes designated by the transportation managersValidate returns from food sourcing routes and update teams accordinglyMonitor Pre-trip and Post-trip DVIR's completed by the driversCommunicate to the operations departments of route delayschangesend of day recap communicated to operations department Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma ad minimum of 1 year related work experienceProficiency in MS Office, WMS and IMSAccurate numerical data entry skillsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to work in fast paced work environmentCompensation for this role is $23hrFeatured Benefits Competitive Health Benefit Package (Medical, Dental & Vision) 403(b) Retirement Plan with company match Generous paid time off (PTO, Holidays, Volunteer Time, 4-day work weeks during the Summer & More!)
