Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week This position is hybrid - Tuesday - Thursday in the New York Office and Monday and Friday work from home.Business Overview:Join Corporate Finance where expertise meets strategic impact. Become part of a team dedicated to financial stewardship, enabling business performance, and paving the way for a secure future for generations to come.Role Overview:Reviewprepare federal and international tax returns and related workpapers. Assist with consolidation of the federal tax return including required workpapers. Assist with quarterly estimated tax payment calculations. Assist perform in the tax return information gathering process including interaction with finance department and business unit personnel. Prepareassist US GAAP and Statutory current and deferred tax provisions including preparation of supporting workpapers. Assist in the preparation of provision to tax return computations. Reviewcompile information necessary to respond to IRS IDRs. Perform basic tax research and analysis. Assist with special projects. What You'll Do: Reviewprepare federal and international tax returns and related workpapers. Assist as required with the consolidation of the federal tax return. Prepareassist with quarterly and year end US GAAP and Statutory current and deferred tax accounting. Assist with new international tax reporting requirements (Pillar II). Assist with IRS and state tax examinations. Perform basic tax research and analysis projects. Assist with special projects. What You'll Bring: BSBA in Accounting or Finance; Master's Degree desirable MS or MBA but not required Tax accounting for insurance companies, tax compliance for both life and non-life insurance companies; tax compliance for US international tax reporting; good excel and other tax technology skills; knowledge of Corptax a plus Requires intermediate knowledge of tax accounting under ASC 740 and basic federal and state tax compliance skills; Should have a general understanding of life insurance and asset management businesses. Should be able to work collaborately with co-workers and have an attitude of continuous learning and development Should be working to enhance data analysis skills and be willing to learn basic tax research skills Should be able to discern when issues should be raised to their manager Should be assertive and articulate and able to communicate with managers and co-workers throughout the finance function and business units#LI-VL1#LI-HYBRID Pay TransparencySalary Range: $77,500-$125,000 Overtime eligible: Exempt Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes Sales bonus eligible: No Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
