Experienced Water/Fire/Mold Technician

Servpro is a leading remediation and restoration company that provides services to both residential and commercial clients.Experienced WaterFireMold Technicians will perform and support remediation and restoration services of fire damage, water damage, mold damage, storm damage, and commercial services. This can include demolition, cleaning, repairs, and other labor intensive activities.JOB DESCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIESRespond to service calls as neededInventory and loading of equipment and supplies into vehiclesMaintain clean work vehicles, warehouse, equipment, and relatedPrepare sites for work activitiesSet up staging area and equipment for projectsPerform remediationrestoration process including cleanups and equipment breakdownsPerform demolition and cleaning tasksUnderstand and follow safety and risk management guidelinesSupport other personnel and perform ad-hoc tasks as neededREQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSStrong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliableExcellent communication and customer service skillsPreferred - Prior experience in fire and water restoration, mold remediation, or relatedMust be able to work some nights, weekends and participate in a rotating on-call scheduleEstimating experience or knowledge of Xactimate software a plusExperience with drywall or other construction trades a plusMust possess valid IL Driver's LicenseMust be able to pass a criminal background checkPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.Ability to climb ladders, perform at ceiling heights and work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces and attics).Ability to sitstandwalk for prolonged periods of time and repetitively pushpullliftcarry objectsWillingness to work with cleaning products and chemicals.Salary and commission is highly competitive and will be based upon experience and ability.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
