Our Chief Applications Engineers are at the forefront of bringing this capability to life. From owning and shaping technical concepts for RFQs to spearheading research & development, this role is pivotal in securing new business, extending our company's technical excellence, and ensuring the successful execution of complex engineering projects.Success Criteria: In this role, you will take ownership of a share of RFQ concept development, leading the charge in formulating technical solutions that align with customer needs and leverage our expertise in life sciences and automation. Your ability to accurately estimate costs, materials, and labor will be crucial as you craft proposals that meet customer expectations and drive revenue growth. You'll work closely with customers, building strong relationships that enable you to present tailored solutions showcasing our technological capabilities.As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will guide and collaborate with cross-functional experts to translate complex customer challenges into innovative, efficient solutions. Your expertise will help guide project teams through technical challenges, ensuring that solutions are effective, timely, and delivered within budget. You'll play a hands-on role in problem-solving, mentoring teams to enhance their skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Your strategic insight will also drive our research and development efforts. We offer market competitive pay and benefits based upon the candidate's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Our starting rate of pay for this salaried position is targeted at $150,000-$200,000 annually and is bonus eligible. Apply now!Qualifications: 10+ years of relevant experienceBS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field), MS preferredProven track record in designing complex custom automated solution with an ability to communicate complex technical concepts to audiences with varying technical skills both internally and externally in a professional, comprehensive mannerExtensive experience in RFQ concept development and formulating technical solutions aligned with customer needs.
