Welcome to Our Practice Summerwood Pediatrics is a well-established, progressive office. We are a primary care practice caring for children from birth to 22 years of age. Our team of board-certified physicians, nationally certified nurse practitioners, and NYS licensed nurses to provide cutting-edge health care to patients in a friendly, welcoming environment. With our Liverpool location growing, we want to hire experienced LPNs to meet our expanding patient base. (Starting pay is $26.00 depending on experience) Job Responsibilities: Triage patients.Administer medicationsvaccines as orderedPerform visionhearingEKG testing; document patient communications in the medical recordPerform duties and assist providers as part of the practice care teamEstablishes and maintains good interpersonal relationships with patients, families, the public, and co-workers.Qualifications: NYS Valid LPN nursing licenseKnowledge of nursing processes; health care systems, structure, and functionsKnowledge of state law regarding nursing care, nurse practice guidelines, and office policies and procedures.Experience with electronic medical records. (Medent) a plus.Must be available to work occasional Monday evenings and an occasional 12 day on Saturday (8:30 am to approximately 1:00 pm.
