POSITION DETAILSDepartment: Admissions and RegistrationLocation: US:PA:LewisburgTypical Work Schedule: Hours vary (6:45a-3:15p, 7:00a-3:30p, 8:00a-4:30p, 10:45a-7:15p) (rotating weekends)Primary Shift: Shift 1Work Type: 1.0 FTE (full-time, 80 hours biweekly)Exempt: NoSUMMARYThe Patient Access Representative welcomes patients to Evangelical Community Hospital. In doing so, this person will accurately gather, verify, and record all pertinent information required to comply with medical regulations and to produce correct statistical information. The Representative will also verify all tests and procedures ordered to ensure they meet medical necessity criteria and verify insurance benefits for all patients.QUALIFICATIONS1. High school diploma or equivalent required.2. Prior customer service experience preferred. Registration experience preferred.3. Medical terminology and medical billig course preferred. 4.
