Admissions Director

Admissions DirectorNursing Home is looking for an Admissions Director to join their team. The Director will have overall responsibility for all new Admissions to the Nursing Home.Candidates must have good relationships with surrounding hospitals, and referral sources, as well as the ability to develop new relationships. Candidates for this position must have at least 3 years of experience working as a Director of Admissions.Admissions Director Job Description:•Takes inquiry calls from hospitals, families, etc.•Respond to all referrals in under 15 minutes•Ability to clinically review all referrals•Ensures responses to inquiries are handled properly, timely, and with appropriate follow-up.•Accurately complete required information for pre-admission financial verification.•Demonstrate a sense of urgency regarding censuspremium mix enhancement and management.•Ensures company processes are followed to ensure a timely clinical and financial approval process.•Ensures consistent and effective process for coordination of admissions and bed management with appropriate departments and staff.Admissions DirectorRequirements:•RNLPN preferred but not required•Admissions: MUST HAVE 1 year experience admissions in a SNF•Knowledge of reimbursement programs from payer sources.•Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Salary: Up to $130,000 a yearAn Equal Opportunity Employer
