The company has been PE owned for a couple years now and are in rapid growth mode through key strategic acquisitions. It is the perfect time to join as the Senior Accountant and have upward mobility to Manager!Reporting into the Corporate Controller, you will be a key financial member of the accounting team, working closely with the Senior Leaders and providing financial information to impact operating decisions. The Senior Accountant will assist in the month-end close process and drive any process improvements within the team.Job DescriptionSenior Accountant Responsibilities:Maintain accurate and timely records of financial transactions to support the company's monthly accounting close process.Perform month-end general ledger activities, roll-forwards, reconciliations, and other recurring accounting tasks in line with established accounting controls.Assist in preparing financial statements for review by the accounting department's management.Analyze and report financial data, identifying trends, patterns, variances, and exceptions.Contribute to monthly management reporting and debt compliance by preparing accurate and timely supporting schedules.Assist with the onboarding of acquired companies, including related purchase accounting processes.Provide support for financial statement audits and tax compliance requirements.Assist with Treasury operations as needed.Track and report KPIs related to processing performance and exceptions.Identify and implement opportunities to enhance process and system efficiency, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and scalability.Provide operational support by answering accounting and financial inquiries and conducting data analysis.Perform additional tasks as assigned.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
