About the job Weld Shop Supervisor The weld shop supervisor will report to the Welding Manager. The Weld Shop Supervisor should have the following experienceOversee a team of 10 to 15 welders,Fabrication and Sheet Metal 7 to 10 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge and experience in metal fabrication, including proficient use of MIG and TIG welding and advanced fitting techniquesExperience welding aluminum and steel in accordance with AWS specifications D1.1, D1.2, D15.1, and D17.1Strong computer skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.Lean Six Sigma, ERPMRP systems, ISO9001 and AS9100 standardsRequirements:3-5 years of experienceStrong knowledge and experience in metal fabrication, including proficient use of MIG and TIG welding and advanced fitting techniquesExperience welding aluminum and steel in accordance with AWS specifications D1.1, D1.2, D15.1, and D17.1Strong computer skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with Lean Six Sigma, ERPMRP systems, and adherence to ISO9001 and AS9100 standards are beneficial.
