We need someone customer focused, with strong attention to detail, as well as someone highly motivated and ready to work in a team. The Back of House Service Technician will report to the Executive Chef.What You'll Do: Care and cleaning of kitchen equipment, dish room and pot washing areasOperate and maintain dish room equipment according to sanitary standardsClean up spills in the kitchen, dining area, hisher own work area immediatelyWash pots, pans, trays and other cooking and serving equipmentMay wash and peel vegetables and fruitsKeep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service as assignedMaintain and refresh restroomsFollow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipmentTransfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or with the use of a hand truckRemove trash, separate into designated containers, and maintain clean floors in the kitchen and dining areaSteam cleanse andor scrub out trash and garbage cansComplete shift work, as assigned, in a timely thorough manner in accordance with department standardsInform chef and manager in a timely manner when supplies are lowAssist other functions as neededResponsible for ensuring proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures - follow HACCP standardsMaintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within the work areaHandle and ensure that all deliveries are properly stored, according to both state and federal health regulationsRepresent the company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner in all customer and employee interactionsGreet customers courteouslyRelay relevant comments from customers directly to supervisorsInteract with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and service oriented mannerEnsure customer satisfactionWhat We Look For: Previous experience preferredFlexible and long hours are sometimes requiredAbility to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistanceAbility to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stoopingAbility to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of timeCompensation: The above job definition information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
