Import Sales & Trading Account Executive Job Num: 56704 h5Job DescriptionJob Title: Import Sales & Trading Account ExecutiveReports to: Import Sales & Trading ManagerSalary range : $50K Entry to 75K Basic Job Description:The Import Sales & Trading Account Executive is responsible for growth of the business and achieving key sales objectives with assigned customers through wholesalers and distributors with current core customers and aggressively growing new business. The primary objective for this role is to exceed revenue goal assigned by the Import Sales & Trading Manager by achieving new clients, expanded product placement in existing accounts and by effectively communicating the progress.Job Responsibilities:•Assists the Import Sales & Trading Manager in tactically driving profitable sales with key customers.•Establishes and maintains an excellent working relationship with customers, suppliers and vendors. .•Contacts potential customers to establish rapport and arranges meetings.•Conducts market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.•Researches organizations and individuals to find new business opportunities.•Meets with potential customers to determine their needs•Increases the value of current customers while attracting new ones.•Conducts product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.•Sources products and negotiates the best contracts and deals, while managing the inventory risks.•Inspects stock and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.•Develops quotes and proposals for customers.•Executes purchase and sales contracts in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.•Updates and maintaining records of all orders.•Ensures all stock is delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.•Monitors and communicates with customers to ensure timely collection of accounts receivable.•Provides monthly analysis of sales results and identifies specific action plans related to account performance; recommends and implements strategic andor tactical changes as needed.•Provides on-going communication to management as it relates to market events, industry trends, business landscape and competitive environment.•Coordinates and participates in trade shows to promote sales.•Negotiates with and influences key decision makers.•Performs monthly inventory reconciliations.•Other duties may be assigned by supervisor.Requirements:•Ideal candidate has a working knowledge and sales experience in the perishable food categories.•Ability to develop good relationships with current and potential customers.•Current relationships and familiarity with key accounts is preferred.•Ability to identify and influence key decision makers and build strong relationships.•Excellent communication skills: active listener, confident presenter.•Self-starter, motivated and energetic.•Proficient computer skills in MS Office; Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, CRM systems a plus.•Extensive travel up to 20% and the willingness to work a flexible schedule.•Ability to work cross functionally, both internally as well as within the customer's organization.•Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and prepare the data according to established procedures.•Must be a self-starting team player who can follow instruction and also work independently.•Sales background mandatory, strong negotiation skills and businesstrade acumen.•Must have a valid driver's licensePhysical Demands:•Able to work in hot, cold and wet environment•Must be able to regularly lift andor move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift andor move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift andor move up to 85 pounds•Specific vision abilities required by this job included close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus•Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of walk; stand, reach over shoulder, reach overhead, reach outward, bend, talk, hear and repetitive motions stoop, kneel, crouch, and taste or smell.To apply please email resume to DetailsCity: Santa Fe Springs State: CA Job Type: Permanent Job Salary High: 75000.00 Salary Low: 65000.00 Languages: English Hours of Operation: Benefits: Health Ins;Dental Ins;Vision Ins;401K Contact InformationJob Owner: Hazuki Takami Job Owner Email :
